It's Confirmed! CommScope is acquiring Arris

ARRIS has agreed to be acquired by CommScope in an all-cash deal valued at about $7.4 billion. The offer price was $31.75 a share. CommScope is a global leader that’s been shaping future networks for 40+ years and fits seamlessly into the roadmap of Arris.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2019 following regulatory and other required approvals. Until the transaction closes, both ARRIS and CommScope will continue to operate as two independent and separate companies.
