Kalyan Krishnamurthy invests in Moglix a B2B e-commerce start-up
Moglix, a B2B e-commerce marketplace, announces on the investment received from Kalyan Krishnamurthy, CEO, Flipkart as an investor in his personal capacity.
To complement the vision of the Indian government on the strong focus on using technology to transform traditional sectors such as logistics, supply chain and manufacturing. India’s B2B e-commerce market is expected to expand significantly over the coming decade, making it a major growth area for the economy.
Moglix, started its operation in into the B2B commerce market and founded by Rahul Garg, Founder and CEO of Moglix in 2015 by and aims to digitally transform the supply chain of the manufacturing sector in India.
The amount of investment Kalyan does into Moglix is not disclosed. There are other investors including Former TATA Sons Chairman Ratan Tata and Shailesh Rao, Ex-VP Twitter and Google.
Commenting on the investment, Kalyan said, I am happy to join the Moglix team as an investor in my personal capacity. Moglix has charted impressive growth in the B2B commerce space…It is gratifying to be able to support this home-grown industrial B2B leader at this important juncture.
