Kaspersky Lab has announced the opening of a newly-relocated office in Mumbai, India for the South Asia region. There are currently 37 Kaspersky Lab offices in 32 countries around the world.
The Mumbai office will provide more office space for the growing global cybersecurity company as well as closer proximity to the partners it collaborates with frequently. The new office will provide greater space for Kaspersky Lab India’s newest team players who have recently joined the Kaspersky Lab to outline the growth for the company, moving forward.
The relocated South Asia headquarters also aims to better serve the requirements of its growing numbers of partners and customers across the region. It is the ultimate hub for businesses offering the perfect environment and an unrestricted potential for all kinds of businesses. Kaspersky Lab’s India office is currently stepping up its efforts as it continues to grow its commercial and enterprise businesses with a solid focus on critical verticals such as “industrial cybersecurity”.
Choosing Mumbai for the location of its regional headquarters was a strategic decision of the cybersecurity company, based on the city-state’s favourable status as a top financial hub in India.
Kaspersky Lab was also attracted to the city-state because of its technology-pervasive atmosphere, and the strength of, and support for the cybersecurity industry.
Not only serving as a hub for administrative, sales, marketing, and channel departments, the new India office will also represent the regional base for the company’s Indian representative Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager, South Asia, Kaspersky Lab.
“The move to our current location will allow us to grow and will deliver greater efficiencies. I am confident this step is an essential catalyst to better serve our growing business and target the right customers but also will help us in creating our channel partner base and conducting a lot more channel partner training. Settling into our new space in this strategic location will meet our business needs for accessibility and accommodate our expanding team. Our new location will cater all these needs," said Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager, Kaspersky Lab (South Asia).
Shrenik also welcomed Kaspersky Lab’s APAC Managing Director, Stephan Neumeier to the opening ceremony of the new office.
Commenting on the opening of the relocated office, Stephan Neumeier, APAC Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab, said, “We are delighted to move to a bigger space that will be the base for our South Asia growth, in one of the most promising new markets with the fastest expanding rates in the world. It is a market filled with business opportunities for us in a very wide range of sectors, especially in the thought leadership space. With the digital growth that is taking place in the region, it is important for us to explore the untapped potential of this market. This would then enable us to deliver the key results we seek.”
