Bollywood sensation Kiara Advani, who debuted at Cannes this year, on Saturday graced the Women in Cinema Gala dinner. The high-profile event held alongside the 77th Cannes Film Festival is hosted by Vanity Fair, and celebrated the achievements of women in the international film industry. More than just a glamorous red-carpet affair, this gala dinner serves as a vital platform for recognizing and empowering female storytellers across the globe.
Kiara, who boasts a substantial following of 34.8 million on Instagram, wore an exquisite off-shoulder silk gown in pink and black, complete with a dramatic bow at the back. The ensemble was paired with elegant black lace gloves and a high bun hairstyle that perfectly accentuated her grace.
But what made heads turn is not just her stunning sartorial choice but the necklace she wore. Kiara wore an exclusive piece by Bulgari, Serpenti High Jewelry Necklace, valued at approximately Rs. 30 crores, and it added a touch of opulence to her already sophisticated look.
Reflecting on the honour, Advani expressed her deep sense of humility and gratitude. “It's very humbling,” she remarked. “It's going to be a decade in my career now. So I think it comes at a very special moment as well. I'm truly so humbled to be here at Cannes for the first time and be honoured by the Red Sea Foundation for Women in Cinema. It's just such a humbling experience.”
This year, the gala honoured a diverse group of women, including Aseel Omran from Egypt, Adhwa Fahad from Saudi Arabia, Ramata-Toulaye Sy from Senegal, Sarocha Chankimha from Thailand, and Salma Abu Deif from Egypt.
