
As per a recent Counterpoint Research report domestic mobile phone company Lava has grabbed 13% market share in the Indian 2G feature phone segment. On a y-o-y basis the firm reported more than 100% growth and closely trails Samsung with just 2% of difference.
Jio remained the Number 1 company inIndian 2G feature phone market, the report added. Counterpoint technology market research is a global firm specializing in mobile & technology products in the Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) industry.
According to the latest research by Counterpoint the Indian Feature phone market is at 400 million users. With this exceptional gain in market share, Lava is amongst the most popular brands in the segment.
Lava was also reported as the No. 1 Feature Phone Brand in India by Cyber Media Research (CMR) in the month of February 2019. Lava had reached the top spot with 16% market share while Samsung and LYF tied at 15% share each.
