The Lava Agni 5G has been launched with a price tag of Rs 19,999, for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It competes against the already crowded section of sub 20,000 smartphones, where all major OEMs are providing pretty good 5G smartphones with great hardware.
The smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch 90Hz LCD display. The screen has a hole-punch cutout and thin bezels around the display for the 16MP front camera sensor, resulting in a 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. It has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a quad-camera module on the back.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. The device has a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity options on the Lava Agni 5G include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
Customers who pre-book the Lava Agni 5G via the Lava e-store till November 17 can get the device for as low as Rs 17,999. Buyers can pre-book the smartphone by paying Rs 500 on lavamobiles.com. After pre-booking the smartphone, the customers will receive an SMS and email with a discount code of Rs 2,500.
