The LearnAbled program offers People with Disabilities comprehensive training in AI, Robotics, Data Structures, Business Analysis, and English Communication, ensuring they gain job-ready skills to thrive in today’s competitive, technology-driven employment landscape
Salesforce has announced a strategic collaboration with GiftAbled Foundation to promote accessibility, disability inclusion, and skill development across India. As part of this initiative, the partnership is launching Project LearnAbled, a dedicated upskilling and employment-readiness program designed for People with Disabilities (PwDs).
The LearnAbled program aims to bridge the education and employment divide by providing PwDs with industry-relevant skills—especially in high-demand areas like Artificial Intelligence—within a fully accessible training environment. The initiative not only equips participants with essential technical knowledge but also fosters the professional competencies required for today's dynamic workplaces.
Through this program, PwDs will receive comprehensive training across both technical and non-technical domains. Key course offerings include AI and Robotics, Data Structures and Algorithms, Business Analysis using Advanced Excel, and Employability Foundations with a focus on English Communication. The curriculum is tailored to ensure participants are job-ready and prepared to contribute meaningfully in tech-driven roles.
In addition to training, LearnAbled connects participants with corporate hiring partners, creating clear pathways from education to employment. It also actively involves industry leaders and hiring managers, working to build inclusive workplaces where individuals of all abilities can thrive.
By focusing on equitable access to technology and career opportunities, the partnership underscores Salesforce’s commitment to creating a more inclusive digital economy. Project LearnAbled represents a significant step forward in empowering People with Disabilities through skills that align with the evolving demands of the global job market.
Federica Terrenzio, Senior Director, Disabilities@work, Salesforce, said, “At Salesforce, we recognise the challenges that individuals with disabilities face in breaking into the workforce and growing their careers. Our dedication to accessibility is rooted in the belief that every professional deserves access to the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed, especially in the era of agentic AI. Technology and the right partnerships can be powerful equalisers, breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all. Through our partnership with GiftAbled, we are committed to providing opportunities that enable professionals with disabilities to thrive.”
Prateek Kaul, Co-Founder and Trustee, GiftAbled, said, “We are committed to breaking barriers and creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Through LearnAbled, we provide specialized upskilling, comprehensive support, and placement assistance to ensure candidates gain the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the workforce. Together, with Salesforce, we are able to drive meaningful change towards a more accessible and equitable future.”
LearnAbled will follow a structured approach, partnering with colleges, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and state disability departments to identify candidates, conducting pre-assessments to tailor learning pathways, and delivering hybrid training sessions that blend virtual and in-person learning. To enhance employability, the program includes regular assessments, soft skills development, and personalized placement support, connecting participants with corporate hiring partners and facilitating meaningful career opportunities.See What’s Next in Tech With the Fast Forward Newsletter
