It has been recently announced that MACH will be hosting key representatives from India’s mobile operator community later this month at its “Insights India” conference. The conference will be opened by Raghunatha Chary, Regional Vice President Sales, India and Asia-Pacific, MACH.
The event helps operators to explore strategies for driving revenue growth from the Indian mobile data boom.
“With Indian operators still facing a highly competitive market and low ARPUs, mobile data offers great scope for new revenue streams. Our aim at Insights India is to explore how operators can best gear their businesses in this transforming mobile world, turn new opportunities into business deals, develop new strategies to meet end-user demand and generate new sources of revenue and drive growth,” explained Chary.
The company expects more than 100 representatives from India’s leading mobile operators. The topics which are to be discussed in the conference are the latest roaming trends, regulatory and policy reforms, mobile payments, real-time service delivery, the role of applied business intelligence, fraud management, revenue assurance to name a few.
The event will also include presentations, interactive workshops, “meet the expert” sessions and social events, and will provide participants the opportunity to learn, network and talk to industry experts.
Morten Brøgger, the CEO, MACH and keynote speaker at Insights India, added, “Given the relatively low ARPU in India, operators must focus on deploying new services, expanding their subscriber base and reducing churn, while still fending off competition from agile new entrants to the market and plugging unnecessary revenue leaks. All this requires operators to deploy real-time services that help them to monetize mobile data and enhance the customer experience. Although Indian consumers are displaying an insatiable appetite for digital services, operators must still invest to capture new subscribers and maintain double-digit growth. A combination of tariff transparency, consistent user experience, convenience and ease of use are key subscriber requirements to unlock data service revenue.”
