Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra have entered into an agreement with CA Technologies to set up a joint research centre. The centre is believed to have 70 employees initially, will work to find solutions in areas such as cloud and telecom. However, exact timeliness for the completion of the merger process was not revealed.
C.P. Gurnani, Chief Executive Officer Designate of Mahindra Satyam-Tech Mahindra said, "We have been working together for the last three years. The pact will help in opening up new business opportunities. Advance notices have been given for the AGMs. The whole process will take about 8-9 months. We don’t see any major hurdle coming in the way."
