McAfee has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders Quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Mobile Data Protection” written by: John Girard and Eric Ouellet. This report is expected to evaluate vendors who offer Mobile Data Protection (MDP) products that safeguard data on mobile end-user devices by means of encryption and authentication.
According to the report, “Gartner clients know that data leakage can cost them money and their reputations, and eventually most companies will make MDP investments, whether they are small or large enterprises, or bound by compliance rules or not. They will make those purchases faster when the solutions are easy to understand and manage, easy to use, and priced affordably.”
