Meizu partners with to launch its M5 Smartphone

Meizu Technology (Meizu) has expanded its product range in India with the launch of smartphone Meizu M5. The smartphone comes as 32 GB variant only. It will be exclusively available on for Rs.10,499/- only.


Meizu has exclusively tied up with to sell M5. This strategic tie-up between Meizu and is being seen as a significant move by the company to explore a completely new market segment in India.


The smartphone is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera which supports PDAF focussing with a large f/2.2 aperture, 5.0 megapixel front camera is equipped with a large ƒ/2.0 aperture, battery of 3070mAh and advanced FotoNation 2.0 intelligent beautification feature. The dual-tone flash delivers an accurate white balance.


Meizu M5 has a 5.2-inch screen with the 720P 2.5D glass with its pixel density of 282 PPI. The HD display of the M5 is based on IPS technology for a crisp image quality, while the integrated blue light filter automatically adjusts blue light emission to reduce eye strain.


The Meizu M5 is designed with the transparent layer of UV coating with its R-angle curved. M5 is available in two exciting colours being blue and gold.


Powered by an octa-core processor with the Mali-T860 GPU, M5 provides powerful and efficient performance. M5 is equipped with fingerprint identification and fingerprint payment options as mTouch 2.1 and mBack home button.


Leon Zhang, Meizu Marketing Head, South Asia, said, “We had launched M5 in China market a few months ago and within a short span of time, this particular model bought various accolades for Meizu’s M series.
