Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming is reportedly down or inaccessible for many around the world for more than 24 hours. Xbox Cloud Gaming, the online service that allows gamers to play hundreds of console games on phones, tablets and other devices.
After users from different parts of the world complained that they were experiencing high queue times when trying to play a game, Microsoft acknowledged the issue via its official Xbox Support.
Microsoft, through its official Xbox Support, addressed reports from players worldwide who encountered long queue times while attempting to access games. Microsoft said that users “may be experiencing issues launching Cloud Gaming titles.”
Microsoft has asked users to monitor the official Xbox Status page for updates regarding the ongoing issue. According to the page, the outage began on December 27 at 12:12 AM, and a resolution is still listed as “pending,” leaving the timeline for restoring services uncertain.
Players attempting to launch games reported encountering a queue screen with wait times ranging from several minutes to a few hours. On regular days, queues are typically rare and, when they occur, last only a few minutes.
However, recent posts on platforms like Twitter and Reddit indicate that users across various devices were unable to access games, suggesting the problem is widespread and affecting players globally.
