MINDBODY sets up its new office in Pune
2020-01-16MINDBODY has announced the launch of its new office in India. Based out of Pune, Maharashtra, MINDBODY’s new space is a state-of-the-art engineering facility equipped to build cutting edge products for MINDBODY business units across the world.
The new office is in line with MINDBODY’s plans to harness the potential of the country’s vibrant technology ecosystem to deliver top notch products and services to the end customer.
The office opening comes on the back of MINDBODY’s acquisition of Simplicity First, a software consulting firm based in Pune that was completed last year. The firm specializes in software development, quality assurance and project management. The new facility showcases MINDBODY’s commitment to India and promises to give a boost to the country’s engineering network with ample employment opportunities.
“India is a major tech center that houses some of the best talent in the world,” said Josh McCarter, president of MINDBODY. “We see the team in India playing a key role in our global product development strategy. Over the next year, we seek to promote our collaborative, high-performance workplace culture and recruit the best engineering talent hailing from diverse backgrounds in the country.”
Tens of thousands of businesses worldwide use MINDBODY’s integrated software and payments platform to run, market and grow their businesses. The sophisticated software offers business critical functions such as online booking, staff management, scheduling, marketing automation, and data analysis, among other features.
