Mobile handset manufacturing units in India

In the last two years, India has set up 38 mobile manufacturing units in the country. Majority of mobile handset manufacturing units are located in Uttar Pradesh followed by Telangana. LeEco is the 38th facility in the country and its manufacturing unit is based at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

Till date, the government of India has received investment proposal to the tune of Rs 123,000 crores for setting up manufacturing units in areas like mobile phone, batteries chargers and mobile accessories.
