MoEngage has concluded the 3rd edition of its flagship summit #GROWTH Summit in Bangalore. The conference brought together entrepreneurs, growth marketers, and product owners from consumer brands in an effort to encourage expert learning with respect to driving customer engagement and growth in a digital-first world and also provided an opportunity to network with peers, share best practices, understand the latest solutions and discover new strategies to enhance their customer experience.
The summit also featured a keynote session by Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, fireside chat with Megha Agarwal, CXO - Growth, Meesho, and Umang Bedi, Co-Founder, VerSe Innovation alongside many such thought-provoking panel discussions led by real experts.
Attendees could learn from the practical insights with a sharp focus on optimizing customer engagement for consumer brands featuring experts from the top brands, the likes of Daily Hunt, SUGAR Cosmetics, Ola, IndusInd Bank, ITC Limited, BYJU’S, Meesho, CoinDCX, PharmEasy, Phonepe, Licious, Sharechat, No Broker, Junglee Games, and Kotak Bank among others.
Raviteja Dodda, Co-Founder and CEO, MoEngage stressed upon the importance of being customer-centric for modern consumer brands. He added, “It’s the only way to drive growth and customer experience. In order to do that, you’ll need to leverage customer engagement platforms. The challenge however is that these existing platforms tend to be very channel and campaign-centric”. MoEngage aims to change that, as Ravi mentions, “We believe that is time for the whole industry to move away from campaign-centric engagement model to a more customer-centric engagement model”.
Ravi also launched ‘MoEngage Catalyst’, a robust partner ecosystem of 150+ partners, consisting of technology partners, agency partners, reseller partners, and implementation and consulting partners.
Umang Bedi, Co-founder, VerSe Innovation, took the audience through the prolific growth story of Dailyhunt, Josh, and PublicVibe, and their evolution into a digital media platform reaching over 100,000 creators. Umang Bedi also spoke about democratizing access to hyperlocal content and how it is instrumental in reaching the next billion in India. He also shed light on the importance of the right consumer insights in product development, engagement, and retention.
Furthermore, expert panelists from Nobroker, ITC, Fraazo, and PharmEasy delved into the bottlenecks and challenges while sharing their learnings in delivering multi-channel experiences to their customers.
The event also saw participation from new-age brands the likes of crypto exchange CoinDCX, digital collectibles brand FanCraze as they decoded the latest consumer trends in cryptocurrency, NFTs, and digital banking.
The final session of the day was a crowd puller with Vineeta Singh, Founder and CEO, SUGAR Cosmetics shedding some much needed light on the meteoric rise of India's leading cruelty-free makeup brand that's high on style and higher on performance. Stressing on the importance of customer obsession, Vineeta mentioned, “If you don't obsess over a single set of consumers, you'll get distracted very easily, and that will show in your performance. It's very important that the customer likes you for a very specific reason, and you're the only one who can solve their problem. Obsess over your messaging and visual language. Because we did, and it pays off in the long-run. If your consumers need a discount to buy your product, it's time to go back to the drawing board."
