Motorola India has announced the appointment of Ipshita Chowdhury as Marketing Head, India. She will lead the brand’s marketing strategy and integrated initiatives across the country, with a focus on strengthening brand salience and accelerating growth. She succeeds Gagandeep Bedi who has been elevated to the role of Asia Pacific Marketing Strategy and Operations Lead, reflecting the company’s continued focus on strengthening regional alignment while sustaining momentum in India. Both Ipshita Chowdhury and Gagandeep Bedi will be reporting to Shivam Ranjan, Head of Marketing, Motorola Asia Pacific.
This leadership transition marks an important step in strengthening Motorola India’s growth trajectory while sharpening strategic collaboration across Asia Pacific markets.
Ipshita Chowdhury is a seasoned marketing professional with over two decades of marketing leadership experience across telecom, automobile, and FMCG sectors. Over the course of her career, she has held leadership roles at Nokia, Microsoft, Philips Lighting, and Valvoline Cummins, where she led integrated brand building initiatives, category development strategies, and high impact marketing campaigns. She is widely respected within the Indian marketing ecosystem and is an active contributor to leading industry forums.
In his previous role, Gagandeep Bedi was instrumental in driving brand growth and reinforcing Motorola’s positioning in India over the past year. Under his leadership, the brand accelerated its premium portfolio expansion and deepened consumer engagement across markets. In his new mandate, Gagandeep will work closely with the Asia Pacific leadership team and country marketing heads to shape regional strategy, drive operational excellence, and unlock growth opportunities across both established and emerging markets.
