Neil Pollock joins Nxtra Data as new CEO

Nxtra Data Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has announced appointment of Neil Pollock as its CEO. Nxtra Data Limited will provide a wide array of integrated managed services and data center services including Managed backup, Security, Virtual Compute and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) Cloud to small and large enterprises and government sector.

In this new role, Neil will be responsible for developing Nxtra’s capacity and capability across geographies in order to build scale and develop products to meet customer requirements.

Neil has over 20 years of industry experience along with enterprise services insight. His recent assignment at Bharti Airtel was as Head  Integrated Managed Services. Prior to this, Neil was Head of Strategy & Productivity at Singtel Optus (Australia) and was responsible for business that included integrated communication services for enterprise, government and wholesale customers.

The shareholders of Bharti Airtel had recently approved the transfer of Data Center and Managed Services business to Nxtra Data Limited via slump sale.
