Nokia 5 available from Today
Long awaited and pre-orders for over a month Nokia 5 budget smartphone is finally available for Sale in India starting from today, August 15, 2017.
HMD Global , who owns NOKIA brand confirmed their other confirmed offerings which have been made available online as well. The Nokia 5 smartphone will be available to buy in more than 10 cities across India in select retail outlets. The smartphone is a sleek and compact Android based and robust engineered phone out of a single block of 6000 series aluminium to create a perfect pillowed body that flows seamlessly into the laminated 5.2” IPS HD display, Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 mobile platform, sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass with excellent battery life.
Nokia 5 will be available across top mobile retail stores in the country at a recommended best buy price of Rs. 12,499 and is available in four different colours – Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper. “As a result of the sophistication in smartphone functionality and services, we spend more time than ever before on our phones. People today want something that fits in the palm of their hands and they want something that will go the distance. Nokia 5 is the ultimate pocketable phone at 5.2 inches with a very unique design,” says Ajey Mehta, Vice President- India, HMD Global.
In keeping with the Nokia 5’s elegant design, the 13 MP phase Detection Auto Focus camera has been beautifully integrated into the body. The new Nokia 5 features Google’s most recent innovation, the Google Assistant, building further on a great Android experience.
The Nokia 6, on the other hand, will be available on Amazon India exclusively. Registrations have already begun and the first sale will happen on August 23.
