Novell has announced strategic updates to its mobile portfolio giving employees working from mobile devices the freedom and access to be fully productive, while providing IT the luxury of leveraging the organization's current infrastructure. This allows IT to take full advantage of existing investments and eliminates the need to duplicate work.
Novell iPrint 1.1 directly addresses this need as an enterprise-level print solution that simplifies mobile printing from the employee’s perspective while leveraging existing security and data governance measures so the IT department can protect its organization. As BYOD trends continue to rise and employees work more on the go, Novell remains steadfast in improving and securing the essential printing function, regardless of where or from what device employees need to print.
