The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG re-examination, allowing them to raise objections within the prescribed deadline.
Candidates can log in using their application number and compare their marked answers with what the scanner reads. It said that if something doesn’t match, candidates may select the question and tick their claimed option and submit a challenge upon payment of a non-refundable processing fee of 200 rupees.
The agency clarified that the fee will be refunded if the challenge is upheld. The OMR challenge facility will remain available until the 15th of this month.
Candidates can contact the NTA helpline numbers 011-40759000, 011-69227700, or write to neetug2026@nta.ac.in.
Authorities also announced enhanced security measures for the upcoming National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) examination, introducing a multi-layer monitoring system aimed at preventing impersonation, malpractice and cyber threats.
According to the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET PG examination will be conducted under a high-security framework. Live CCTV feeds from every examination centre across the country will be transmitted directly to the NBEMS Central Command Centre, where more than 300 officials will monitor the examination in real time throughout its duration. The objective is to ensure uniform surveillance and enable immediate intervention in case of any suspected irregularity.
