OnePlus is set to unveil its new flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 13 Series, and a refreshed variant of its popular earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, on January 7, 2025. The new series promises to offer an enhanced user experience, combining innovative technology with a focus on user-centric features for a truly premium flagship experience.
The first phone in the series, the OnePlus 13, boasts a sleek design with a camera layout inspired by the golden ratio. It will be available in three striking colour options: Black Eclipse, Arctic Dawn, and Midnight Ocean. The Midnight Ocean variant introduces micro-fibre vegan leather for a luxurious feel, while the Arctic Dawn features a pioneering glass coating that resists fingerprints and offers a silky smooth touch.
Additionally, the OnePlus 13 is the first device in the series to receive both IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring durability against dust, water, and even high-pressure water jets. This makes it an ideal choice for users who need both performance and resilience. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile platform, ensuring smooth performance even under heavy usage.
The OnePlus 13 Series runs on the newly released OxygenOS 15, which integrates advanced AI features designed to provide a faster, smarter, and more intuitive experience. Key AI enhancements include Intelligent Search, which lets users search through files using natural language prompts, and AI-powered photography tools that improve everyday tasks and creativity.
Alongside the OnePlus 13, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will be available in a new Sapphire Blue colour, complementing the Midnight Ocean variant of the phone. The Buds Pro 3 will also feature AI Translation, offering seamless communication for both personal and professional use.
The launch of the OnePlus 13 Series coincides with the brand’s 11th anniversary, celebrating its "Never Settle" philosophy and the strong community that has driven its innovation and success over the years.
