OnePlus has launched the third edition of Campus Dominate, expanding its collegiate esports initiative to 16 universities across eight cities with BGMI competitions, creator engagements, immersive gaming experiences and a ₹10 lakh prize pool.
OnePlus has announced the third edition of its nationwide collegiate esports initiative, Campus Dominate 2026, as the technology company looks to deepen its engagement with India's gaming community and Gen Z consumers. The programme will be conducted across 16 universities in eight cities over the next two months, combining esports competitions with on-campus technology experiences and creator-led activities.
The latest edition is expected to engage more than 100,000 students and over 50 content creators. A central feature of the initiative is the OnePlus Gaming Truck, which will travel to participating campuses and host gaming competitions, product demonstrations, community activities and merchandise giveaways.
Building on previous editions, OnePlus has expanded the scale of the programme with additional campuses, increased creator participation and a larger prize pool. The company said last year's tournament attracted more than 12,000 students, with winning team Nebula Esports using its Campus Dominate victory as a stepping stone into professional esports.
Commenting on the initiative, Ishita Grover, Director - Marketing, OnePlus India, said, “Over the past year, we've spent a lot of time understanding what truly resonates with Gen Z, and gaming emerged as one of the strongest passion points. With this insight in mind, we decided to make this year’s Campus Dominate’26 larger than life.”
She further added, “India's campuses are home to some of the country's most passionate budding esports athletes.
With OnePlus Campus Dominate 2026, we want to create a platform that brings esports directly to students, celebrates campus pride, and gives emerging talent an opportunity to showcase their skills. We believe the future of esports will be shaped by grassroots communities, and initiatives like this help create clearer pathways for aspiring players to grow within the ecosystem”
Tournament to culminate in Grand LAN Finale
The Campus Dominate 2026 roadshow will cover Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, New Delhi and Noida before culminating in a Grand LAN Finale scheduled for August.
The campaign began in Pune on June 29 at G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, where more than 3,500 students participated, including 893 Campus Pro players. The event also produced the first campus champion to qualify directly for the Grand LAN Finale.
At the centre of the initiative is a BGMI 4v4 tournament in which college teams will compete through campus qualifiers. Winning teams from each of the 16 participating universities will secure a place in the Grand LAN Finale, where they will compete for the Campus Dominate 2026 title and a prize pool of ₹10 lakh. All matches, from the qualifying rounds to the final, will be played on the OnePlus Nord 6 smartphone.
Beyond competitive gaming, the OnePlus Gaming Truck will feature Nord experience zones, creator meet-and-greet sessions, gaming challenges, quizzes, user-generated content contests and merchandise giveaways. More than 50 creators are expected to participate in the roadshow, while competitions such as the "Creator Lobby" will provide campus creators with an opportunity to compete for recognition and win a OnePlus Nord 6.
OnePlus said the initiative is aimed at supporting grassroots esports by creating structured competitive opportunities for college students, enabling aspiring gamers to gain exposure and pursue opportunities within India's growing professional esports ecosystem.
