OPPO confirms January 2025 launch of Reno 13 series with design details

OPPO India has unveiled its Reno13 series, scheduled for release in January 2025. The series will include two models, Reno13 and Reno13 Pro, each available in two colour options: Graphite Grey and Mist Lavender for the Pro, and Ivory White and Luminous Blue for the Reno13.

The Reno13 series features a mix of matte and glossy finishes, achieved through laser direct writing technology. This process creates textures that shift colours depending on the angle of light.

Both models are built with aerospace-grade aluminium frames for durability and are designed to be lightweight. The Reno13 Pro is 7.55mm thick and weighs 195g, while the Reno13 is slightly thinner and lighter at 7.24mm and 7.29mm thick and 181g in weight. The devices feature a One-piece Sculpted Glass Back and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for added protection.

The displays offer slim bezels, with the Reno13 Pro having a 1.62mm bezel thickness and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio, while the Reno13 has 1.81mm bezels and a 93.4% ratio. This design provides a wide viewing area with minimal borders.

For enhanced durability, the Reno13 series incorporates the All-Round Armour architecture. This includes tough external materials combined with internal cushioning to protect against drops and impacts. The series is certified with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, including immersion in water up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes and protection against high-pressure water jets.

The Luminous Blue variant of the Reno13 includes a glowing effect around the camera module, while the Ivory White variant has a soft light effect. These details have been developed specifically for the Indian market.
