Oracle Helps Indian Companies Secure Corporate Data in the Mobility Era

To deliver on its commitment to help Indian enterprises address this challenge, Oracle has introduced Oracle Mobile Security Suite (OMSS) in India, to enable companies to safely provide access to sensitive enterprise applications and data on users’ preferred mobile devices.Oracle Mobile Security Suite provides a secure workspace that will allow Indian companies to separate and protect enterprise apps and data and enforce policy while preserving privacy of users’ personal applications and content on the same device.
Oracle has made considerable investment in the security space to build a strong portfolio of Mobile security solutions. In November 2013, the company acquired Bitzer Mobile, a provider of mobile applications management solutions.The acquisition augments Oracle's portfolio and is the core component of its mobile security strategy. While many vendors offer containerization tools, Oracle extended Bitzer's "container" technology into its market leading Identity management platform.

 This eliminates the need to set up a separate management component solely for BYOD devices by extending consistent access policies and controls beyond enterprise applications and systems to mobile devices as well as cloud based systems.
