
Panasonic’s record growth was fuelled by high demand for ACs, washing machines, and microwaves, with residential air conditioner sales surging over 47% in volume, making a significant impact during the peak summer season
Panasonic Marketing Solutions India (PMIN), a division of Panasonic Life Solutions India (PLSIND), has recorded its highest-ever 30% sales growth in the consumer appliances segment. This milestone has been driven by strong demand for air conditioners (ACs), washing machines, and microwave ovens. The air conditioning business, in particular, played a crucial role in this achievement, with residential air conditioner (RAC) sales soaring by over 47% in volume during the ongoing summer season.
Earlier this year, Panasonic launched 61 new residential air conditioner models, introducing India’s first Matter-enabled ACs integrated with the Miraie IoT platform. These advanced air conditioners offer smart connectivity, True AI capabilities, high airflow, PM 0.1 air purification, and energy-efficient inverter technology. Designed to withstand extreme temperatures of up to 55°C, the ACs ensure superior cooling performance while maintaining healthy indoor air quality. The range includes models with capacities from 1.0 to 2.2 tons and energy efficiency ratings between 3 and 5 stars.
Panasonic’s latest air conditioners are available across major retail outlets, leading e-commerce platforms, and the official Panasonic Brand Store online. This impressive growth highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and delivering advanced, energy-efficient home appliances to Indian consumers.
