Paytm launched its first ever subscription-based loyalty programme for the Indian consumers with the aim to increase customer retention, called the 'Paytm First'. The programme comes with benefits across various categories including food, music, travel and more. The new competitor to Amazon’s Prime subscription and Flipkart’s Plus aka Paytm First offers several subscription-based services like Zomato Gold, Gaana, Sony Liv, ViU Premium, and Eros Now. Paytm First is offering all these services at an annual charge of Rs 750. Not just that, Paytm First also offers benefits on Uber and Uber Eats services to the consumers. Paytm is giving cashback worth Rs 100 for a limited time.
Deepak Abbot, senior vice president, Paytm said on the Lunch “We are very excited to launch our exclusive loyalty program “Paytm First” with sought after rewards and benefits spanning across video and music streaming, food and travel, shopping and lifestyle. We are happy to have partnered with leading players from their respective verticals during the initial launch phase itself and we will continue to expand the Paytm First programme with more benefits and value to our customers.”
In addition, Paytm is also preparing to offer cashback for worth Rs. 1,500 to customers who opt for the Paytm First membership. Not just that, the company will also provide offers to Paytm First customers on Paytm Mall. There will be unlimited free and priority shipping and access to priority 24×7 customer care available for the customers of the Paytm First.
Paytm First: Benefits for You
As part of the programme, Paytm users will get benefits worth Rs 12,000. These include:
* Zomato Gold membership
* Annual Gaana membership
* Annual Sony Liv subscription
* ViU Premium
* Eros Now Annual membership
* Uber (benefits up to Rs 6,000)
* Uber Eats (benefits up to Rs 2,400)
Apart from that, Paytm First customers will also get over Rs 1,500 cashback including Rs 100 cash back on movie ticket booking each month. Additionally, Paytm will also give exclusive offers for shopping on Paytm Mall which will come with unlimited free and priority shipping, just as it is in the case of Amazon and Flipkart for their respective loyalty programmes.
Paytm First: What is the Cost ?
Paytm will charge its customers Rs 750 annually for Paytm First programme. However, as an introductory offer, Paytm is giving cashback worth Rs 100 for a limited time.
