Pitney Bowes’ another R&D centre
2012-05-23Pitney Bowes Inc. is opening its second R&D centre in India in Pune. This centre is believed to focus on research and development for its global portfolio including Volly and to expand capacity for local and global business demands.
Manish Choudhary, MD, Pitney Bowes Software India, said, “Pune has a strong talent pool and is a mature software product development destination. It boasts of 12 per cent of Software Product Development headcount in India, is an education and research hub, and this is one of the main reasons why we chose to set up our second R&D centre here. With the opening of this centre, we hope to incubate, sustain and support local talent and maintain high quality of contributions and value to Pitney Bowes globally. Pitney Bowes Software has been present in India since 2007, and is headquartered in Noida, where it has more than 600 employees working across business units.”
