Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met and interacted with few selective Indian gamers. According to a video shared by a news source, seven gamers which includes Animesh Agrawal, Naman Mathur, Mithilesh Patankar, Payal Dhare, Tirth Mehta, Ganesh Gangadhar, and Anshu Bisht met Modi and the PM tried his hand at a few games.
The video shows that the Prime Minister is interacting with gamers and they shared how the gaming industry is taking centre stage. One of the gamers pointed out how there has been a rise in games around Indian mythology whereas another mentioned how the government has started to recognise their creativity.
PM Modi asked questions to the gamers and also wanted to know whether the gamers faced the dilemma of gaming being equated to gambling. One of the gamers replied that there is a need for distinguishing between real-money and skill-based gaming.
He also asked a gamer about whether there should be more participation of girls in the gaming industry and also should take more interest in the field.
The PM also tried his hand at various games on different platforms. He tried VR-based games, mobile games as well as PC/console games.
