Rajesh Rege joins Microsoft

Rajesh Rege has joined Microsoft India as the Country General Manager & Leader for its Solutions & Cloud Technologies Group. He has quit as the Managing Director, Red Hat India/South Asia Operations, the global leader for open source solutions.

Over the last 3 years, Rajesh helped Red Hat to firmly establish in India/South Asia with an upsurge in visibility, recall and opportunity participation. He acquired a multitude of new customers with inroads into new sectors/ segments and was responsible for building a dynamic, action-oriented team, which in turn has made Red Hat a magnet for great talent. He on-boarded senior internal stakeholders driving investments and support and elevated partnerships into formidable multi-pronged engagements for reach & scale with several joint successes. He also worked closely with the media, analysts, policy makers & industry associations (member CII committee on IT/ITES) to champion open source.

As per his linkedIn profile, Rajesh has 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Before Red Hat, Rajesh has worked with various Indian as well as global companies including Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Reuters and Wipro.
