Ricoh India kick-started the Sammelan – A Partner Connect Initiative in the southern region in the strategic cities of Coimbatore and Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Kakinada in the states of AP and Telangana and Mysore and Bangalore in the state of Karnataka. These Sammelans were held at popular upscale hotels in these respective cities.
Coupled with these meets, few meets were organized in conjunction with the regional local IT associations like Tirupur IT Association (Tamil Nadu), CONFED (IT Association in Tamil Nadu) and AKITDA (Kerala). Ricoh intends to conduct such partner meets “Sammelan” at various strategic locations across the length and breadth of the country. These meets were attended by prominent partners of the region.
The Sammelan began with an introduction to Ricoh by the Regional Sales Team, the Global Company with Global Products and Solutions to cater to the Indian market. The meet further went on to emphasize RICOH’s commitment to the Indian channel fraternity and our customer, the robust and workaholic products that Ricoh offers to the customers for their Printing and Imaging Solutions. These meets showcased a wide range of products that cater to personal and business needs. These meets have been able to re-establish and empower the faith of the Ricoh Product and Solution Offerings and Ricoh as a Brand, to cater to requirements of the Indian market.
The sessions were followed by sharing of the Synergies that Partners and Ricoh can achieve by partnering together, the rich benefits that partner can gain through the margin earned by selling Ricoh products, the technical and support programme from Ricoh for the partners and users, the Promotion Support given by Ricoh through multiple channels – Traditional and Non-Traditional Mediums of Support. Thereafter, there was a session where hands-on feel of the portfolio of products – Laser Printers and Projectors which were kept on display and partners had a session for experiencing the products, its robustness and applications to personal and business needs.
