Roopen Roy is the Managing Director of Deloitte & Touche Consulting India, which provides consulting services in the areas of strategy and operations, human capital, and technology. Globally, Deloitte has the largest and most prestigious consulting practice amongst the “Big 4” professional services firms, and all Deloitte entities together employ more than 8,000 people in India.
Mr. Roy also is a member of Deloitte's Global Consulting Executive Leadership Team. He has more than 30 years of experience in management consulting and has worked in India, Australia, Korea, Japan and all the South Asian countries. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mr. Roy was Managing Director of another Big 4 firm, where he pioneered the IT services business and grew it to more than 1,000 people before the consulting practice was divested to IBM.
Mr. Roy is a CA with a Master's degree in advanced accounting and a Bachelors degree in law. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
