SafeNet has announced that it has acquired Cryptocard, a privately held leader of cloud based authentication solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. With the acquisition of Cryptocard, SafeNet enhances its market leading authentication portfolio, providing both enterprises and service providers with authentication-as-a- service (Auth-as-a-Service) offerings in the marketplace.
