Salesforce has released AI capabilities for Slack, such as "Slack AI huddle notes," which instantly produce transcripts of meetings. Participants can access notes thanks to this function, which also records important points and shared files.
The key new feature introduced by Slack is the Slack AI huddle notes, designed to "capture key takeaways and action items so users can focus on the work at hand," as stated by the company.
This enhancement builds on a previous Slack AI feature that summarized channel highlights and thread discussions with a single click, offering a more robust and comprehensive tool.
When users are invited to a huddle, Slack AI automatically creates a transcript of real-time audio and messages shared during the session. It also organizes these notes with citations, action items, and files into a dedicated canvas. This allows all huddle attendees, even those who couldn’t attend, to review the notes and information later.
Additionally, Slack has upgraded its AI search feature to provide more personalized results for users. It can now retrieve content based on files and apps the user has uploaded to Slack, including canvases, transcripts from clips, documents from connected apps, Google files, and more. This enhancement aims to streamline access to relevant information and improve productivity.
