The February 25 event in San Francisco is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 lineup with deeper Galaxy AI integration, while pre-reservations open in India with vouchers and promotional offers ahead of the anticipated March sales rollout.
Samsung has officially announced that its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco, where the much-anticipated Galaxy S26 series is expected to make its global debut. The company confirmed the date through a press statement and released a teaser video on X, building momentum ahead of its flagship launch.
The upcoming lineup is widely expected to include three models — the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra. While Samsung has not disclosed detailed specifications, the company signalled a strong artificial intelligence focus, describing the launch as the beginning of a “new phase” where AI becomes more personal and adaptive.
The event will be held in person in the United States and streamed live globally via Samsung’s official website, Samsung Newsroom, and YouTube channel. Indian viewers can tune in at 11:30 PM IST on launch day.
AI integration takes centre stage
Samsung has indicated that the new Galaxy S26 series will feature deeper Galaxy AI integration. Although specific features remain under wraps, the emphasis on AI suggests enhanced on-device intelligence, personalised user experiences, and smarter automation capabilities across the devices.
The announcement comes after reports of a delayed launch timeline for the Galaxy S26 lineup. With the unveiling now set for late February, market observers expect commercial sales to begin in March, slightly later than Samsung’s traditional flagship rollout schedule.
Pre-reservations open in India
Ahead of the official launch, Samsung has opened pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 series in India. Customers can secure early access by paying Rs 999, which includes a Rs 2,699 voucher redeemable on Samsung’s online store at the time of purchase.
Additionally, users who register on Samsung’s website are eligible for a Rs 5,000 voucher and a chance to participate in a promotional giveaway valued at Rs 50,000.
With AI positioned at the heart of its next flagship generation, Samsung is aiming to reinforce its leadership in the premium smartphone segment as competition intensifies in 2026.
