Sandeep Aurora, who has served Intel for nearly 2 decades in various capacities, has quit the company.
Sandeep has joined Intel way back in October 1996 as a Channel Business Manager. Over the years he went to serve as Business Manager – India, Business Manager – South Asia, Director – Solutions Business Development (APAC), Director – Sales & Marketing Group (South Asia) and currently he was serving as the Director - Marketing & Market Development.
On having quit Intel, Sandeep Aurora exclusively told VARINDIA that it has always been a privilege to have worked for Intel. "It's been a privilege to have built the business in India for Intel over the last two decades. I have had the opportunity to lead solid path breaking teams and drive many initiatives which have helped shape Intel's approach to the India opportunity and which have helped the growth trajectory of Intel's business in India. I am eagerly anticipating jumping in to the next chapter of my career and life and look forward to working closely with many life long friends I have made here."
In his current position, Sandeep was leading the marketing and market development charter across South Asia market and was responsible for Marketing campaigns, media and strategic communications, Retail / e-tail strategy and B2B/enterprise marketing & thought leadership across emerging areas such as IOT & AI. He has handled important projects like ‘Ek Kadam Unnati Ki Aur’ - Innovative B2C Initiative focused on non urban India and more recently the ‘Innovate for Digital India Challenge’ project – a B2B initiative to strengthen technology leadership.
Before Intel, Sandeep had worked for HCL as an Area Business Manager. He has a degree in MBA (Marketing) from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
