“Best Practices followed at Hamdard Labs -
•    Sponsorships of the project should exist in the organization before it kicks off preferable from the top management.
•    Steering committee should be created to track the project timelines and budgets.
•    Project scope, milestones, final outcome should be clearly defined.
•    Plan B should be properly defined in case of failure of Plan A.
•    Implementation of Internal Core Team should be done by picking at least one member from each department across organization.
•    CIO should take interview of each member to check his/her aptitude level and their respective business process knowledge.
•    Members once selected and becoming part of the core implementation team should not be allowed to do and perform his/her daily routine tasks.
•    Core Team Members should concentrate only on the project implementation till the project is completed and go-live.”
