Secureye keen to incorporate latest technologies into its products and services
With an aim to become a globally acclaimed leader in smart integrated security and surveillance products, Secureye has emerged as one-stop-shop for complete security solutions. Secureye is not only a security provider but also a security partner of many big brands. In a chat with VARINDIA, Manish Agarwal, Director, Secureye shares his observation on security and surveillance landscape in India and the current security market, digital future of the company.
Manish Agarwal, Director Secureye feels that with increasing focus on building a holistic and secured environment, the paradigm of security is moving from device security to guarding of assets with enlarged alertness of threat management. The Indian security market is already undergoing major developments from different sectors such as city surveillance, public transport, hospitality, airport security, BFSI and retail.
In the growing security and surveillance landscape in India, Secureye offers a range of surveillance products which include all types of cameras including AI enabled cameras along with multiple series based on segment wise customer requirements. Recording is the key for any surveillance projects, where they have a range of recorders both in Digital and the Analogue system. Their products are also compatible with all leading Video Management software.
The security trends
Manishperceives that over the past few years there has been a shift from analogue to digital security technologies. With the increase in number of camera pixels and also the overall capabilities of security products, the role of digital technologies has changed, such as AI, facial recognition and machine learning have become more pertinent.
He says, “In addition, there has been increased cloud and mobile access adoption, with greater emphasis on IoT, data analytics and cyber security. The ease of deployment of cloud solutions, flexibility provided, connectivity options and productivity benefits will escalate adoption of digital technologies. The increased emphasis on access control cloud platforms with APIs and SDKs will fuel new software solutions that will in turn lead to more choices for companies to get the maximum return on investment.”
Manish has also noticed that mobile access to solutions will accelerate even further in 2020. The maturity in mobile solutions and integration into other systems will improve. Mobile’s ability to enhance user convenience, improve operational efficiency and provide higher security will drive accelerated growth for mobile access and mainstream adoption.
Manish assures that, “The concept of physical identity and access management will drive convergence of physical and digital security to a single credential, putting identity at the center of all cases. Predictive analytics and biometrics play a critical role in securing people and assets and also address employee demands for workplaces to deliver premium, more customized services. Analytics will help reduce downtime in the enterprise, spur factory automation and improve compliance through real-time monitoring and remote-sensing solutions.”
Secureye adapting new technologies
With the ever changing trends in the technology adoption, Secureye is restless to incorporate latest technologies into their product. The company has come up with AI enabled cameras which can do numerous tasks like – object mapping, human tracking, line crossing, heat mapping and face recognition. To provide a perfect solution to smart policing and to curb nuisance, Secureye has brought Body Worn Camera which enables security personnel to record live evidence of any incident. Secureye emphasizes more on to develop better products and services.
He realizes that with the ever-changing threat landscape, security concerns are on the rise. This is prompting organizations of all sizes to invest in security technologies and be proactive than reactive. As mentioned earlier Secureye is a one stop solution, on this aspect Manish points out, “Recently we have upgraded our security & surveillance domain by launching FALCON & IBIS series of CCTV Cameras with outstanding features and specifications where as the Wi-Fi based cameras are just a plug-n-play model for every end user. With the addition of Body Worn Camera, AI Enabled Cameras, NVR kit and Night Vision Cameras – Secureye has completed its range of Surveillance Solution. Secureye has become one stop solution for all security needs.”
Use of AI
With biometric based solutions to enhance the security, Secureye is bolstering the market with AI enabled cameras. Clarifying how AI is being used Manish utters, “Clearly, you cannot spend your day watching the security camera’s live stream to limit the unwanted events like intrusion or burglary. All you want is to get notification in real time, in case of any emergency or intrusion, burglary, theft or any unwanted incidents. Here comes the role of ‘Artificial Intelligence’ in Security cameras and surveillance systems which gives you real time alerts. Each different AI function enables you to work more efficiently as you don’t have to deal with numerous fake alerts. AI enabled security camera uses motion detection functions like Tripwire, intrusion, and heat mapping to introduce greater precision and confidence for event detection. And the best thing is that with time the AI will improve and become more precise.”
Enabling security and surveillance
To ensure the last mile connectivity and covering every cities and district, Secureye has an impressive channel networks including an expert team and partners. Secureye is available across India with around 24 branch offices.
