Magnasoft has appointed Shyam Ramamurthy as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Shyam has been associated with Magnasoft products as a co-founder & advisor and has been instrumental in the conceptualization of the NorthStar product line. In his new role as the CTO, he will accelerate the development of core technologies and products for global markets.

Shyam has over 25 years of experience in building technology products at companies around the world. He has been a technology leader, product builder, software architect, developer and innovator spanning a vast range of technologies and domains. Prior to joining Magnasoft, Shyam was the Senior Director of Engineering at Yahoo where he led global engineering teams to transform the Yahoo homepage, one of the top three destinations on the internet. During his stint of 7 years at Yahoo, he also held leadership roles for Yahoo advertising platforms and other key products in the Yahoo portfolio. Prior to Yahoo, he held senior technology leadership roles in the US and in India at several companies such as Symbol Technologies (now Motorola), Oracle Corporation, Cygent Inc and Quark LLC. Over the years he has built and taken several internet, enterprise and mobile software products to market leadership across industry verticals.
