After the successful launch of XPAD, Simmtronics Semiconductors is ready with another exciting product for Indian users. As per the latest update, this time Simmtronics is launching a new voice calling tablet X-801 in the XPAD range. This tablet is a new addition to the XPAD range and now adds voice calls and GPRS connectivity. It also features a dual-band GSM radio that allows you to make and receive voice calls. This expands the functionality of the tablet and keeps you connected even on the move and in places that don’t have Wi-Fi. An attractive detachable keyboard case and speaker bundle also comes along with the tablet.

Speaking on the occasion, Indrajit Sabharwal, Managing Director, Simmtronics, said, “In our strategy to reach out to our audience with most innovative products, we are launching X-801 which features built-in voice calling and 2G connectivity support. This tablet PC enables you to make phone calls from your tablet and to surf Internet with 2G speed via the SIM card. It also supports USB dongles to surf Internet on a 3G speed. Its 8-inch widescreen elegantly displays large format magazines and apps and let people to use it either vertically or horizontally.”
This unique tablet has a dedicated USB port to connect data card or pen drive along with inbuilt Bluetooth that gives freedom to the users to stay connected while on the move. It works on Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0, A10, Cortex A8, 1.2 GHz processor which gives faster computing experience along with 8” capacitive multi-touch screen. It has gravity and accelerator sensors which support Android Gravity games and support thousands of applications to download.
Taking into account the various needs of the Indian consumers, X-801 has been manufactured in Simmtronics’ factory in India itself. The company will add more products in this series of XPAD tablets and Smartphones for the Indian Market.
