Smart24x7 to work with Mohali Police to ensure safety and security

Mohali, coined as the future city of Punjab, has witnessed phenomenal growth in the past few years. With such a tremendous increase in growth, there are certain challenges which have come up for safety and security of citizens in Mohali.

To provide solutions to such challenges faced by the citizens in everyday life, the Mohali Police, in association with Smart24x7 Response Services Gurgaon-Haryana (India) Pvt. Ltd, has launched Smart24x7 Mobile Safety Platform.  Inder Mohan Singh Bhatti, SSP, Mohali Police, has graced the launch event with his presence. Bhatti stated, “It is a unique initiative which has been taken to simplify communication process during unexpected emergencies. With Smart24x7 "Mobile Platform", the victim will be able to access the Police Control Room instantly and the police will be alerted without any loss of time about an emergency/distress situation and it would also help us in reducing the crucial response time of the police by ten minutes as the police shall have instant location of the victim. There will be no wastage of time in reaching the victim for help.
 
Mohali Police, Punjab has taken this initiative to help working women's, women's, girls, children's and old people by empowering them with an additional security which will help them in case of Panic situation/Emergencies like theft, stalking, dowry violence, sexual harassment, medical emergencies.

It is a unique step taken in the direction of ensuring safety and security. As today smartphones are more than devices you can use beyond communicating and surfing internet. Hence, they can be very easily used for aiding safety and security at home, at office and during transit.

Smart24x7 is offering this platform to all the Police Control rooms which can enable them to know the location and the name of the victim. This helps them save at least ten crucial minutes of their communication. Soon we are about to introduce new features in our Application – Panic Alert by Power Press, Shaking of phone and integrating it with your Bluetooth devices like earphones.

Smart24x7 Mobile Platform has been successfully integrated and is being used by the Gurgaon Police, Jalandhar Police, Jammu Police, Noida Fire Department and Lucknow Fire Department. In the coming days ahead, we will be covering Kashmir, Bangalore, and many more cities.
