Snapdeal to tie up with leading fashion brands

Snapdeal is beefing up all its efforts to increase the size and range of its offerings of not only tying up with big brands but also with niche sellers. It is also increasing its focus on tier-2 and tier-3 cities that accounts for existing 12% of its fashion sales. Industry experts estimate that the country's broader fashion and lifestyle segment is worth 2.6 lakh crore, of which online retail's current contribution is just 1%.
