Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’ s Uber ride in London on Wednesday night left her with scariest experience. She has warned her fans on social media to not use Uber in London after she had that experience.
The actor splits her time between London and India as her businessman husband Anand Ahuja has a house in London. She was "super shaken" after she used the ride-hailing app on Wednesday night.
She said on Twitter that her Uber driver was "unstable and was yelling and shouting".
"I was shaking by the end of it. Please please be careful. The best and safest is just to use the local public transportation or cabs.”
Uber said in a reply on Twitter, "Sorry to hear about this, Sonam. Can you please send us a DM with your email address and mobile so we can look into this?"
Sonam replied that she tried to complain on the app but "got multiple disconnected replies by bots". The company told, "It is a regrettable and concerning incident. What's been described has no place on the Uber app and we're reviewing the matter."
