Sony India has appointed renowned rapper and singer Karan Aujla as the new face of its audio category, marking a fresh chapter for the brand’s engagement with music lovers. The appointment follows the brand’s association with rapper King, who had represented Sony India’s audio segment since May 2023.
With this move, Sony is setting its sights on expanding its ULT (Ultimate Listening Technology) product range, which was rebranded in 2024 to include premium headphones and wireless speakers featuring cutting-edge technologies such as noise cancellation.
The ULT lineup has seen remarkable growth in India, with Sony claiming a 2X year-on-year increase in sales. The collaboration with Aujla, known for his global appeal and deep connection with his fanbase, comes at an exciting time for Sony India’s audio segment.
