Stellar Information Systems wants to be seen as a leader in the data recovery market and is making right step in the right direction.
With the phenomenal growth in data storage and information, the advancement in data recovery solutions is evident. There are various sophisticated methods that have been evolved in tandem with the industry needs. To ward off data loss due to any catastrophe, organisations and enterprises are becoming more conscious in transferring data onto tapes and duplicating them, and storing them to multiple sites. Be it a data recovery from a server or a PC or getting back the pass code, you may have Stellar Information Systems in mind.
Established in 1993 by technocrats, the company has an expertise in recovering data from RAID servers, NAS, SAN, hard disk drives and other storage platforms, and has a clientele base of more than one million throughout the world. According to a recent IDC research, the data protection and recovery software market is poised to grow at 4.8 per cent CAGR over the period from 2009 through 2013. However, Laura DuBois, Research Director for Storage Software at IDC, believes that data protection and recovery software market has been impacted by the overall economic slowdown.
The storage media device comes from simple accidental deletion to the most complicated situations that include physically crashed hard drive in typical scenarios that include burning and water submerging. “The process of recovery initiates when customer submit his/her data storage device or media to Stellar along with MAF to initiate the data recovery process and Stellar engages reasonable efforts and appropriate tools and techniques to analyze storage device or media for possibility of data recovery and provide customer with a report and quotation for the actual recovery work within 4 hours,” said, Manoj Dhingra, Director – Services, Stellar Information Systems.
Its offerings include data recovery services and software, and has emerged as one-stop solution for all data recovery needs from simple to the most complicated data-loss situations or data corruption in multiple scenarios that include various failures, such as hardware, disk, mechanical, RAID controller and intermittent drive as well as system crash, power surges, natural disaster, head crash, operating system malfunction, accidental formatting, file system and firmware corruption, and disk and database corruption in all the media and storage devices.

Our technical support team work round the clock attempting to help the user to solve specific problems with a product. The turnaround time for tickets and chats are four hours, and we have dedicated lines for India, United States, United Kingdom and Germany for our calling process,” said Dhingra. Its data recovery solutions encompass a range of software for various data-loss situations and virus attacks and software malfunctions. It supports major OS that include Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Novell and UNIX.

Upon realisation of data recovery charges, Stellar ensures wiping data beyond recovery within seven working days.
