Tata Play has partnered with Apple Music to offer four months of complimentary access across DTH, OTT, and broadband services, giving users over 100 million songs, curated playlists, and live radio through Tata Play platforms
Tata Play has announced a new partnership with Apple Music, offering all its subscribers four months of complimentary access to the global music streaming service. The offer is available to users across all Tata Play platforms — including Tata Play Binge, the Tata Play Mobile app, and Tata Play Fiber — covering DTH, OTT, and broadband customers.
Pallavi Puri, Chief Commercial and Content Officer at Tata Play, said the collaboration reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering more value and convenience. “Through this partnership, Tata Play users can now access over 100 million songs, curated playlists, and live radio via Apple Music, all integrated seamlessly across our platforms,” she added.
Partnership extends Apple Music’s reach in India
Shalini Poddar, Director – Content and Services at Apple India, said the partnership marks an important step in expanding Apple Music’s footprint in India. “With Tata Play, we’re delivering an immersive and personalized audio experience to a broader audience,” she stated.
To claim the offer, subscribers will receive a unique promo code to redeem on the Apple Music website or app. After the four-month trial period, users will be charged ₹119 per month unless they cancel the service before renewal.
New users are eligible for four months of free access, while existing Apple Music subscribers will receive a three-month complimentary period.
This collaboration follows similar promotions in India’s telecom sector — earlier this year, Airtel offered six months of free Apple Music access to its users after discontinuing Wynk Music.
Tata Play’s new offer reflects its strategy to enhance content diversity and deliver an integrated entertainment experience spanning TV, OTT, broadband, and now, music streaming.
