The software giant Tata Consultancy Services has grabbed yet another recognition in IT industry. According to a latest report titled “The Forrester Wave: Global Banking Platforms, Q4 2012”, generated by Forrester Research Inc, TCS with its flagship brand BaNCS, has been recognized as a leader among a select group of global core banking software platforms.
In its 62-criteria evaluation of global banking platform vendors, the Research firm identified the eight most significant software providers.
The report further revealed that TCS’ banking platforms has a very strong pre-integrated product base and strong multichannel enablement capabilities, platform agility, product strategy, and services and support.
The author of the report, Jost Hoppermann, wrote, "TCS BaNCS has a strong current offering and a strong strategy. TCS BaNCS again wins a Leader position with strong multichannel enablement and very strong banking platform functionality with no real gaps."
N. Ganapathy Subramaniam, President, TCS Financial Solutions, has expressed his views. He said, “‘Any place is a banking place’ paradigm drives our overall product strategy and the sophistication in the functional integration across the business of banking. Simplicity in architecture contributes to the sophistication and ease of integration. We are pleased to note such an evaluation which we believe strengthens our own banking platform conviction and product direction."
