After six eventful and fulfilling years at Tech Mahindra, Manoj Chugh will be moving to the Mahindra Group (Mahindra Mahindra) as President, Group Public Affairs and Member Group Executive Board effective January 1, 2019.
Chugh joined Tech Mahindra in 2013 and was responsible for driving almost half of the company’s $5-billion revenue. Prior to this, he was with EMC and looked after global accounts there.
Chugh takes over this new role from S. Ramkrishna who has retired from the company, M&M said in a statement.
Given his vast experience with new-age digital technologies, Chugh will add a valuable new dimension to the company's government relations at a time when digital India is a priority.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, Chugh currently leads Tech Mahindra’s enterprise business, which spans 70-plus global markets.
Tech Mahindra is India’s fifth-largest IT services company, with 1.18 lakh employees across 90 countries.
