TP-Link has secured the much-anticipated BIS-ER01 certification for its VIGI C340 and VIGI C440 surveillance cameras, marking an important regulatory milestone in the Indian market.
The BIS-ER01 certificate, issued under the Bureau of Indian Standards framework, confirms that the products meet India’s essential safety and compliance requirements for electronic equipment. With this approval, the VIGI C340 and VIGI C440 are now fully certified for sale and deployment across the country.
Both models are part of TP-Link’s VIGI professional surveillance portfolio, designed to deliver high-definition video monitoring for small and medium businesses. The VIGI C340 is known for its durable outdoor build and clear night vision capabilities, while the VIGI C440 offers turret-style flexibility suited for varied installation environments.
The certification strengthens TP-Link’s position in India’s fast-growing security and surveillance segment, where regulatory compliance is increasingly critical for public and private sector projects.
By obtaining BIS-ER01 approval, TP-Link reinforces its commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to Indian standards, ensuring customers can deploy its surveillance solutions with greater confidence and regulatory assurance.
