TP-Link is expanding its Smart Home product line with the new entry-level brand “Tapo”. For those newly interested in smart homes, Tapo aims to help people live smarter, easier, and secure solutions. The Tapo C200 Pan/Tilt Home Security Wi-Fi Camera is prepared to keep a watch on home and keep track of the loved ones, with this small but powerful device, one can always see what matters most in home.

Motion Detection and Anit-Theft Alerts

The Tapo C200 camera is installed at the entrance of the home, garage, or basement to ensure the safety of family and property. It will notify users about arriving packages or suspicious intrusions at home as soon as it detects a motion, alarming timely and if needed, users could remotely switch the smart lights or the Two-Way audio feature to scare away unwanted visitors.

Care for Little ones and Elders

At times users may need to keep a watchful eye on the elders in the family and check a baby periodically. The 850 nm infrared night vision supports automatic color switch filters in low light conditions with a visual distance of up to 30 feet.

Privacy Protection

For moments the user is back at home and doesn't want to be captured on the camera, turn on Privacy Mode to physically close the camera’s lens to further safeguard privacy. One can set a schedule on the app and it will automatically record for that period of time, regardless of whether or not it detects motion.

The free Tapo Camera app puts everything one needs at the tips of the fingers. Just check the video box to play back previous recordings by choosing the videos sorted by date and time. For spots one likes to pay particular attention to, the user can preset the camera to jump to that position. The app interface shows the view from up to 4 cameras at the same time.
