Tracxn raises $3 Mn at $78 Mn valuation

Data is the new oil in this Industry 4.0 generation, which is now entering into 5.0. Most of the leaders from India into investment had put their investment into Tracxn. Tracxn specializes into data monitoring and curates tons of information that is sourced from millions of startup companies and make this data accessible to Venture Capital Firms, Investment Banks, Corporate Developments, and Universities.

The post-money valuation of the startup will be around $78.75 million. It was valued at about $70 million when it raised last round in April 2018. Tracxn is a startup intelligence and market research platform, where more than 1000 Venture Funds & Corporates Leverage Tracxn's Analyst Powerhouse and Now Tracxn is raising another Rs. 21 crore in a fresh round from KG Global Platform Fund, which is not a big amount .

Tracxn captures all digital footprints about startups and combines it with human curation to provide an information platform for private market investors and decision makers. In short, Tracxn is building a similar platform for the startup ecosystem.
 

Tracxn was founded in 2013 by Abhishek Goyal and Neha Singh Accel alumni, both IIT graduates and ex-venture capitalists from Accel Partners and Sequoia Capital respectively, Tracxn began its operations in May 2013 from Lightspeed Venture Partners’ office in Menlo Park, California. Prime ventures and Sequoia Capital are the Institutional Investors. Tracxn has raised about $16.5 million across six venture rounds of funding.

The six-year-old firm has passed a board resolution on 26th August to raise the capital by issuing 70,872 Series B2 CCPS at price of Rs 2455.48 per share. The fresh fund will be utilised to augment the long term financial resources of the company.

There are leaders including Former UIDAI chairman Nandan Nilekani, Junglee co-founder Anand Rajaraman, Mohandas Pai, and Neeraj Arora Amit Ranjan ,Founder Slideshare, Aneesh Reddy, Co-Founder Capillary Technologies, Binny Bansal,Co-Founder Flipkart, Girish Mathrubootham, Founder Freshdesk, Mukul Singhal, Partner Pravega Ventures, Ratan N Tata,Chairman Emeritus TATA Sons,Sachin Bansal,Co-Founder Flipkart, Sahil Barua ,Co-Founder Delhivery were the investors who participated in that undisclosed round last year.

Bengaluru based Tracxn is mentored by Abhishek Goyal and Neha Singh, The firm is currently working with enterprises and investors in India across the US and South-East Asia, and many other countries. It essentially analyses sectors including enterprise applications, technology, consumer, mobile, digital marketing, health and education.
